With A Little Help From My Friends

When this show was announced MrBakeman was surprised they were playing at the fairly small "San Diego State University Open Air Theatre". I think they added a bunch of temporary bleachers at the top of the amphitheatre to fill in. This was the first show of the second US leg of the "Keep The Faith" tour which I think they called the "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" tour. The opening act was a band called Ten Inch Men which MrBakeman was bummed about because starting the next show in Irvine was Extreme who MrBakeman hadn't seen at that point. Bon Jovi is another one of those former great rock and roll bands MrBakeman was very much into until about five or six years ago. He totally lost interest in them after the "Have A Nice Day" album. He's glad he saw them several times before then because they were always great live. This recording has been circulating since 1993 however this version is a new Analog Cassette transfer from the original analog master tape (april 2010).
