With there not being a "Monsters Of Rock" festival in 1989 due to two fans having been crushed to death in 1988, Doc McGhee organized a small festival of his own at Milton Keynes, having Bon Jovi travel with Skid Row to the England after their two succesful shows in Moscow. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry happened to be in the England and joined Bon Jovi on stage when the band played the Aerosmith classic "Walk This Way". Skid Row, Europe and Vixen supported Bon Jovi.
